My goal is to see regulation changes on the lower Boise River that better protect its wild Rainbow and Brown trout. The longevity and reproduction of these fish have proven that existing spawning habitat is adequate. Requiring anglers to use single, barbless hooks and practice catch-and-release are the best ways to improve the fishery and provide higher numbers of large, wild trout.
